Thanks for updating your information and indicating whether you are coming to the International Furniture Give-Away on Tue, Aug 20 or Wed, Aug 21, 2024.

If you are coming, we look forward to seeing you on Tuesday or Wednesday. For any reason, if you are not able to attend the event, please email elan@ifmusa.org to let me know that you will not be attending.

You would be receiving another email by Monday indicating your appointment date & time for the event. That is the date and time you are supposed to show up at Sherwood Oaks Christian Church. For those who requested for rides, your pickup location, date and pickup times will also be indicated. All pickups, drop-offs, furniture and delivery of furniture is FREE. We will deliver all your furniture to your apartment.

Please remember that the International Furniture Give-Away event is especially arranged for NEW international students, scholars and their families. If you are a returning student who first arrived in Bloomington in 2024 Spring or earlier, you are not eligible to participate in this event. Please help the maximum number of our new students to benefit from this event by not participating. If returning students need furniture, please contact us after August 21 and we will try our best to secure furniture for you.
