Alpha Course begins August 23

The Coffee Hour at CCC will host The Alpha Course for the first part of the semester. Alpha is designed to explore life, faith, and the big questions we all wrestle with. Whether you’ve been a Christian for years, are from an entirely different spiritual or religious background, or aren’t sure what you believe, you’re invited.

Each gathering includes breakfast, a short video exploring a big question, and time for honest, open conversation around your table. No question is off-limits, and there’s no pressure to have the “right” answers—or to agree with everyone in the room. You don’t have to believe to belong in the conversation. Just come curious. 

Some topics covered:

The second half of the semester the CCC Coffee Hour will consider the Names of God and look at who are we actually talking about when we say God. What do His names tell us? More info to come!

Is there more to lfe than this?

What does Jesus have to do with life and why do Christians believe He matters?

What is forgiveness and grace?

What is faith and how can I have it? 

What is prayer, why do people do it, and how does it work?

What is the value of reading the ancient text of the Bible?

How does God guide us as we make decisions?
