Bloomington International Student Ministries (BISM) is here to ensure your transition to your new academic and cultural environment is as smooth as possible.
We’re thrilled to announce the return of our annual Weeks of Welcome (WOW) program, tailored specifically for international students like you!
🚐 Airport Pickup Service (August 1–15, 2026)
Traveling to a new country can be daunting — but BISM is here to help!
Our dedicated staff and volunteers will greet you at Indianapolis Airport (IND) and provide free transportation to your housing in Bloomington (campus, off-campus apartments, or local hotels).

🪑 International Furniture Give-Away (August 18–22, 2026)
Setting up your new home shouldn’t be a hassle. Join us for our 22nd Annual International Furniture Give-Away, where hundreds of international students receive free furniture and household items!
You’ll find beds (twin, double, queen), desks, chairs, sofas, bookshelves, dining tables, and more — all for free.
